  • Traditional gaffer or masking tape often falls off during dives or transport, leaves residue on cylinders, and contributes to ocean pollution. DiveTagsUK tags provide a permanent, reusable, and environmentally friendly alternative that stays securely attached and can be wiped clean after use.

  • Yes. Our aluminium dive tags are designed specifically for saltwater and freshwater diving. They will not rust and are built to withstand regular exposure to water, pressure, and handling. We do however recommend rinsing with your other dive gear after use.

  • Absolutely. All our tags are permanently engraved with your chosen details, such as your name, contact information, or organisation. Writable areas are provided on selected tags for temporary information like Nitrox mix %, MOD, and date.

  • Each tag is supplied with a keyring for easy attachment. Tank tags are supplied with an elasticated bungee and rubberised silencer, helping to protect both the tag and your equipment while reducing movement and noise.

  • Yes. DiveTagsUK tags are designed for long-term reuse. Writable details can be easily wiped clean after each dive and updated for your next fill or trip.

  • Yes. We offer green Nitrox tank tags with space for mix %, MOD, and date, as well as Air tags to clearly identify cylinders and avoid confusion during transport or filling.

  • No. Our tags are lightweight and supplied with protective silencers and bungees where applicable to minimise rubbing, noise, and wear on your cylinders or kit.

  • DiveTagsUK tags are suitable for:

    • Scuba cylinders

    • Dive bags and travel luggage

    • SMBs, torches, and accessories

    • Keys and shore-support equipment

    They are ideal wherever clear identification is needed.

  • Yes. Key tags can be engraved with ICE details, insurance information (such as DAN membership numbers), and other critical safety details. If you have specific medical or safety requirements, please contact us before ordering.

  • Yes. Our tags help reduce single-use plastic and paper waste by replacing disposable tape. They are made from recyclable aluminium and designed for long-term use.

  • We aim to dispatch all orders within 5 days from order, however, custom orders may take a little longer.

  • Yes. Bulk orders for dive schools and dive clubs are a speciality of ours for Nitrox, Air ID tags and kit tags. Bulk orders for any of our tags are no problem. Simply email us with your requirements and we will provide you with a competitive quote.

  • Yes. We can custom design tags for you. Please email us with your requirements and we will get back to you ASAP.

  • All our tags are supplied with a key ring and the Tank tags are supplied with an additional elastic bungee to secure to the top of the valve.

  • Yes. The military style dog tags are available in 38mm and 50mm lengths. As standard we use 50mm in order to ensure you have room to write the necessary details on where required.

    Round tags are available in diameters 19mm, 25mm, 28mm, 35mm and 50mm. if you require a different size from the options on the site please ask.

    Be aware though, there are some limitations on the text that can be engraved depending on size of the tag. Email us your requirements and we will get back to you ASAP with your options.

  • Sometimes the unforeseen happens. We are only human (except for the robot that does the engraving !) if you have any problems with your order or delivery just drop us an email or a chat and we’ll get back to you as soon as we are back from diving…

  • We are based in the UK and all our tags are engraved and dispatched from within the UK

  • Yes. Our standard postage is within the UK only, inc NI. If you wish to order overseas we would be delighted to assist, please email us for a competitive quote.

  • Yes. Whether you want multiple tags for yourself, for you and your dive buddies or as a school or club email us with your requirements and we will provide you with a quote to suit.

  • Tags are made to order. Please ensure you check the details you require as we will engrave exactly what you tell us. If there is any problem with your order please contact us and we will endeavour to resolve any issues with you.

  • Yes. Club and School logos can be added to tags, style and space permitting. The logo needs to be formatted in the correct manner for engraving, please contact us to discuss your needs and we will endeavour to help.

  • Yes, We can combine up to 10 tags in one envelope to make postage as efficient as possible.
